Personality: Doctor is at times very difficult to get along with. He can be grumpy and quiet when you first meet him but don't let that shake you off too quickly. It takes time for him to let his guard down and mistrusts those he has not met before because of his blindness. Not being able to see for several years has made him quite an un-trusting character and brought him to be much more reserved than in his younger years. Still he is, once you get to know him, one with many stories to tell and very protective and loyal to those he learns to call "friends."

Brief History:

Childhood: Doctor grew up in Tratool alongside his Mother and best friend, Romance's father. He completed his schooling at a rapid rate, being at the very top of his class in nearly everything except math, something he still struggles with even if he won't admit it. At this time he still had his eyesight and was an active swimmer, competing on several occasions. He was also an avid reader and had plans of becoming a teacher to help other children learn to love reading.

Young Adult: Many centuries passed after Doctor completed his schooling and he had spent a long time teaching and doing the things he loved. His Mother passed away from a disease when he was 5000 years old but this did not hurt him too badly, he had known she was ill for many years and was well prepared for this by that time. At age 7000, however, he had an accident that hurt him more than anything he could have prepared for. He was attacked in his sleep by a human pet his family had cared for for several years, leaving him blinded. This, of course, put him out of his teaching job and, unable to care for himself, he was forced to move into his childhood best friend's home.

Current: Doctor currently lives with Romance and 2000 years after losing his eyesight he still has a very bitter distrust of all humans and avoids them like a plague. He spends most his time helping Romance with his gardens or sunning by a pond in his friend's yard. He lives a fairly relaxed life and only leaves Romance's home when the other Koltherian tells him he has plans of going somewhere that might interest him. His favourite place to go is the library where he has Romance read to him or listens to audio books.

Hobbies and Interests: How does one get to this blind Koltherian's heart? His absolute favourite thing is to be read to. He dearly misses reading from before he lost his eyesight and being read to is the fastest way to make him your best friend. Other than this he also enjoys listening to sounds and music. Bird-song and quiet music are by far his favourite sounds.

Fears and Dislikes: Loud noises and places (they disorient him), does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, it makes him nervous especially if he doesn't know where anyone is. After his accident he also has a terrible fear, or possibly hatred of humans.
